DAN EDWARD ROSS, age 81, of Smyrna died Monday, November 10, 2008. He was a native of Benton, KY and the son of the late Charles and Raymoth Turner Ross. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Giles Creek Baptist Church. Bro. Terry Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Ruby Swafford Ross, daughters and sons-in-law: Lecia and Larry Anderson of Smyrna, Avonnia and Rick Alter of Brentwood, brother: Joe Ross of Paducah, KY, sister: Vanetta Cain of Murfreesboro, grandchildren: Rebekah Sullivan, Richard Alter, Daniel Anderson, Adrianna Anderson, Rachael Alter, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ross attended Giles Creek Baptist Church and was a Residential Contractor for 45 years. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
