Mr. Dan Presson, Jr., age 84, formerly of McKenzie, TN passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016. He was born in McKenzie to the late Daniel Allen, Sr. and Mary Hedge Presson. Mr. Presson was employed as an auto mechanic for a number of years before going into forestry. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Mr. Presson is survived by his wife of 64 years, Minnie Belle Nanney Presson; two sons, Mitch Presson and his wife Carolyn of Chattanooga, TN and Terry Presson and his wife Sandy of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, Christy, Brian, Brenna, Gavin, Brittany, and Amanda; five great-grandchildren, Madison, Roman, Mason, Isaac, and Addy; and four siblings, John Presson of Gleason, TN, Mattie Morgan of Gleason, TN, R.L. Presson and his wife Zelma of Lewisburg, TN, and Nan Reed of Jackson, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Jane Coleman, Clara Myers, and Jessie Faye Hines.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
