Robert Dale McAvoy, age 49, of Lascassas, passed away June 20, 2017.  Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Jim Newman officiating.  Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM until time of services at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Dale was preceded in death by a son, Sawyer McAvoy; grandparents, Loyd and Bernice McAvoy and Howard and Gladys Hollandsworth.

Dale is survived by a daughter, Graceann McAvoy; father, Robert McAvoy; mother, Betty Hollandsworth Hammond; brothers, Brad (Brooke) McAvoy and Daniel (Heather) McAvoy; granddaughter, Viviana McAvoy; several nieces and a nephew; and special friend, Donna Beers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions on behalf of  the family may be made at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
