DAISY HALFACRE, age 81, of Rockvale, Tn. died December 16, 2008. She was born in Cannon County, Tn. and was the daughter of the late Sam & Bertha Osment Gunter. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Halfacre; daughters, Paulette Garvin of Manchester and Diane Vermillion of Louisville, Ky.; sister, Nornia Willard of Nashville; brother, Sam Bratton Gunter of Shelbyville; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services 2 pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bob Good officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 4-8 pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Halfacre was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired Nursing Technician with the State of Tennessee.
