Curtis Rickie Hedgepeth, age 57 of Smyrna died Friday September 20, 2013. He was a native of Raleigh North Carolina and was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Mae Hedgepeth and Marshall "Bo" Hedgepeth; sisters, Lois Dixon, Cleo Dunn; brothers, Clyde Hedgepeth, Sr. Burnett Hedgepeth, Joseph Hedgepeth. Mr. Hedgepeth was a Pharmacy Tech for Veteran Hospital in Nashville. He was an Army Veteran and was of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Hedgepeth is survived by his wife of 32 years, Phyllis Hedgepeth; children, Curtis Rickie Hedgepeth, Jr. and fiancé Tika Smith, Marcus Hedgepeth all of Smyrna; brothers, Marshall Hedgepeth Randolph Hedgepeth and wife Betty, Charles Hedgepeth, Andre Hedgepeth and wife Janice, Alphonzo and wife Phyllis all of North Carolina; sisters, Leora Williams and husband Herbert, Goldie Mae Davis and husband Clark, Ailene Richardson and husband John, Bernice Watkins, Judy Bolton and husband James, Muriel Wilson and husband Mansur all of North Carolina, and a host of relatives and friends all of whom he loved dearly. Funeral service will be 11AM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will follow in Middle Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be 9AM till service time Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna
