Cornelia Barrett Cawthon, age 75, of Lascassas died Friday, December 28, 2012. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late G.C. Cleve and Birder Smotherman Barrett. She was also preceded in death by brother, Joe Barrett, and granddaughter, Hannah Cawthon. Funeral service will be 9:00am Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Darrel Whaley. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Cawthon is survived by her husband, Roy Wayne Cawthon, daughter, Rita Cawthon, sons, Dwayne (Kelley) Cawthon, Jeff (Rhonda) Cawthon all of Lascassas, sisters, Mary Sue McCrary, Louise Parker, Ophelia Merritt, all of Murfreesboro, Ruby Faulkner of Milton, granddaughter, Jessicia, great granddaughter, Chloe, step grandchildren, Krissy and Meaghan, step great grandchildren, Nathan and Gaberial.
