Connell "Pete" Segroves, age 90 of Murfreesboro, died Sunday, July 22, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a native of Bedford County and a son of the late Grady Thurman Segroves and Pauline Bell Segroves. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Frances Uselton Segroves; and brothers, Thomas and Charles Segroves.

Survivors include his children, Roger Segroves and Becky Clark and her husband Larry all of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, David Clark and his wife Stephanie and Lori Stacy and her husband Jason, all of Franklin; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Natalie, Benjamin, Jacob, and Carter.

He was a faithful member of New Heights Chapel, a United States Army Veteran, and retired from General Electric after 30 years of service.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery with Terry West officiating.
