Cody Wayne York, age 23 of Murfreesboro died Monday November 20, 2017. He was a native of Rutherford County and had attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Cody was a 2013 graduate of Blackman High School and had attended MTSU.

He is survived by his mother, Michelle Snell; father, Mike York and wife Donna of Christiana; brothers, Caleb York and wife Katelynn of Murfreesboro, Travis Walker of Smyrna; niece, Lillia York; grandparents, Jeanice and Bobby Jernigan of Murfreesboro; uncle Oda Snell of Murfreesboro and cousins, Brandon Craig Snell, and James Patrick Snell; aunt, Lynn Jernigan of Spring Hill.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather, Craig Snell, grandparents, Mignonette and Charles York.

Celebration of life service will be Friday 4:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Deacon Pete Semich. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery at later date. Visitation will be after 2:00PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. www.woodfinchapel.com
