Clifton Wilhelm Braunwalder, age 13, of Lascassas, TN died Thursday, April 10, 2014. Clifton is survived by his parents, Norbert and Sondra Braunwalder; sisters, Amanda Braunwalder, Nicole Braunwalder, Louann Braunwalder and Monica Braunwalder; nephew, Andrew Wilson; brother-in-law, Andra Wilson; grandparents, Bette Stilwell and Ernest and Annelies Braunwalder; aunt, Sylvia Meyer and her husband Steve; uncles, Bobby Stilwell, Ernie Braunwalder and his wife Juanita, Roland Braunwalder and his wife Anita, Bernhard Braunwalder and his wife Sylvia, Marvin Braunwalder and his wife Tina; and 22 cousins. Clifton was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clifton Stanley Stilwell. Clifton was deeply religious and devoted to his church, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He had a great smile and loved to joke with everyone. Clifton was very passionate with hiking, camping and loved to play sports. He was a member of Troop 538 of the Boy Scouts of America. Memorials in memory of Clifton can be made to the Middle Tennessee Council of Boy Scouts Summer Camp Campership program, the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church youth group, The Middle Tennessee State University Catholic Student Center or the Nashville Rescue Mission. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Father Mark Sappenfield will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
