Mr. Clifford P. Brothers, Jr., age 85, passed away March 27, 2016. Mr. Brothers was a native of Christiana, TN and was a son of the late Clifford P. and Martha King Barnes Brothers, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sally Watts Brothers, and son, Jerry Lynn Brothers.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Darrell Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Elders and Deacons of the Crescent Church of Christ will serve as pall bearers. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00pm until 7:00pm Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Brothers is survived by two sons, Kent Brothers of Midland and Wayne Brothers of Murfreesboro; daughter, Suzanne Allen and her husband Rex of Midland; and brother, Harold Brothers and his wife Karen of Texas; sister, Charlotte Wiser and her husband Wendell of Alabama; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Brothers was a member of the Crescent Church of Christ. He was a graduate of Christiana High School and MTSU and was former Superintendent of Rutherford County Schools.
