Clarisse Birk Winkler, age 100 years, a St. Louis native, died May 15, at Adams Place where she lived for the past year. Mrs. Winkler is survived by her daughter Dr. Ellen (Richard) Slicker of Murfreesboro, two grandsons, Greg (Erin) Slicker of Leawood, KS and Tim (Kerry) Slicker of Murfreesboro, four great grandchildren, and her sister Catherine (Byron, deceased) Milligan of Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Clara Birk and her husband of 51 years, Norman Winkler. A faithful member of First Congregational Church (UCC) of Webster Groves, MO, she attended First United Methodist Church of Murfreesboro with her family during the time she lived in Murfreesboro. Funeral and interment will be in her beloved hometown, St. Louis, MO.
