Clarice D. Cagle, age 89, of Murfreesboro, TN went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 31, 2014. A long-time resident of Oak Ridge, TN she was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Ina Davis; daughter, Denise Cagle Holt; and siblings, Eugene, Irene, Amarie, Faye, Jack and Lula Mae. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Mrs. Cagle is survived by her daughter, Donna Stansberry and her husband George of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Ed Stansberry of Greenbrier, TN; John Stansberry and his wife Rhonda of Murfreesboro; Pamela Wooten and her husband Burke of Phoenix, AZ; Michael Stansberry and his wife Rie of Japan; Karin Stansberry of Panama City, FL and Allison Foreman and her husband John of Chattanooga;16 great grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild; sister, Chloe Bordwine of Bristol, VA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Cagle was a member of the Unity Church of Knoxville, TN. She was a retired secretary with Y12 Union Carbide. Mrs. Cagle enjoyed traveling abroad. She loved cycling and was a very active swimmer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Memorials can be made to www.unity.org or to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
