Clara B. Johnson, age 95, of LaVergne, TN, died Sunday May 26, 2013. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Lee and Lillie Hutchins Boyd. Mrs. Johnson was also preceded in death by a son, William "Bill" Lamar Davenport, III, a daughter, Barbara Ann Murphy, and brothers, Daniel Jackson Boyd and Malcolm Boyd. Mrs. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Suzette Wilson of Winston-Salem, NC; brother, Billy Boyd of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Carmine Hodge of Vian, OK, Eula Mai Herrod of Nashville, TN, Annie Sue Boyd and Lyda Lee Boyd both of Lascassas, TN; grandchildren, Jason Hodge and his wife Amy, of Murfreesboro, TN, David Hodge and his wife Grace, of Pfafftown, NC, and Billy Davenport of Franklin, TN; and 8 great-grandchildren.
