CLARA FLETCHER BEASLEY, age 96 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Beasley was a native of Bedford County and daughter of the late, Clarence and Lillie Dye Fletcher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Beasley who died in 1973, and a granddaughter Maggie Perkins. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel Bro. Kevin Dye will officiate. Burial will be in the Hollywood Cemetery in Wartrace. Mrs. Beasley is survived by two daughters, Pat Perkins of Atlanta, and Betty "B.J." (Bill) Buzbee of Murfreesboro; four grandchildren, Michele (Doyle) Scott, Beth (Hank) Workman, Christy Sweeney, and Lee Buzbee; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Beasley was a member of Minerva Church of Christ and was formerly employed by Goldsteins and the Flower Center. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
