PERRY, C. E. CHUCK , age 85 of Nashville, Tennessee went to be with Jesus Saturday, June 7, 2008. He was born in Sparta, Tennessee and was the son of the late Finis & Mary Etta Jernigan Perry. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Sarah Dutton Perry; son, Charles Hampton Perry and his wife, Virginia of Murfreesboro; daughter, Lisa Perry Hovis and her husband, Joe of Easley, South Carolina; grandchildren, Sarah Adams, Rachel Frazee, David Perry, John Perry, Tyler Hovis; great grandchildren, Camden Frazee, Summer Frazee, Ella Frazee, Luke Adams, Andy Adams, Julia Adams and Eleonorah Perry. Funeral services 2 pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Charles Hampton Perry officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 until 2 pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Perry was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nashville and retired Executive Manager after 37 years of service with Nashville Contractors Association. He was Past President of the International Builders Exchange Executives, an active member of the Downtown Civitan Club of Nashville, played an active role in the Nashville Union Mission, an avid golfer and fisherman; he never met a stranger and always shared Jesus with whomever he met.
