Christy Marie "Sissy" Willis, age 45, of Smyrna, TN, passed away Wednesday September 3, 2014. A native of Nashville, TN, she was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Willis. Christy is survived by her mother, Catherine Connolly Willis; sons, Jeffrey Weaver, and Manning Pendergrast; daughter, Unique Pendergrast all of Smyrna, TN; sisters, Cindy Jones and her husband Craig, and Cecilia Willis all of Smyrna, TN, and Debbie Molle and her husband Mike of Christiana, TN; brother, Jeff Jones and his wife Jessica, of Christiana, TN. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Trey Gambill officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Christy was a member of Florence Baptist Church, and employed by Whirlpool.
