Christy Marie Hooper Brown, beloved daughter, wife and mother, passed away at the age of 40 on Monday, July 21st, 2014. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben Houston and Shellie Jones and Herbert and Mary Katherine Hooper. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 2:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Steve Recher will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Christy is survived by her loving son, Caleb; her parents, Bryant "Butch" and Debra Jones Hooper; and her husband Daniel Brown, all of Murfreesboro, TN. She was born on August 16, 1973 and was raised in the Barfield Community in Rutherford County. Christy graduated from Riverdale High School in 1992 and became an EMT. She was always inspired to befriend and help others. Her son Caleb was her shining star and love of her life. Christy's final wishes were honored as she was able to save three lives as an organ donor. She will be greatly missed. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting memorial contributions to help with expenses. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00PM until the service at 2:00PM all at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
