Chris George Sullivan, known lovingly as "Big Papa" and "Big Daddy," passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 52. Born on August 20, 1973, in Murfreesboro, TN, Chris spent his life leaving a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know him.
Chris was the kind of guy who could walk up to a complete stranger and talk for hours like they were old friends. He had a natural warmth and selfless love that drew people in and made them feel like family. No matter what job he took on, Chris showed up with extraordinary work ethic, and he made sure to pass that same dedication down to each of his children. If a problem came up, Chris found a solution. That was just who he was.
His greatest joy was spending time with his five grandbabies, and he made sure his grand dogs got plenty of love too. Chris loved a good time, whether that meant playing competitive pool, going shopping with his daughters for fun outfits, or taking off on spontaneous trips with family and friends. Life with Chris was never boring.
Chris is survived by his sons, Christopher Sullivan (Madison) and Brandon Musgrove(Deidre); his daughters, Kelli Sullivan and BriAnna Rowe (Stuart); his mother, Judy Sullivan; his sister, Kimberly Reed; his brother, Joshua Sullivan; and his grandchildren, Paisley Sullivan, Carter Sullivan, Samuel Sullivan, Jackson Musgrove and Adelynn Musgrove. He was preceded in death by his father, George Sullivan.
Above all, Chris was a firm believer in Christ who made sure everyone around him heard the Word. His faith was the foundation of everything he did, and his love reflected that calling every single day.
Chris lived a remarkable life. A life well played. A life well loved. "Let all things be done decently and in order." 1 Corinthians 14:40.
