Mrs. Christi Wells Burnett, age 53, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Friday, August 23, 2024. She was born in Cleveland, TN to Bill and Sally Wells. Christi was a graduate of Smyrna High School and MTSU. She was a loving wife and mother to her family. She was delighted to be involved in her children's sporting events. Christi spent eight long years as a warrior battling cancer. She kept a smile on her face as she kept on going to prevent life from passing her by. Christi was proud to be a member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.

Christi is survived by her husband, Brill Burnett; children, Madison Dean, Baylor Burnett, Ellie Burnett, William Burnett, Ashlie Burnett, and Brooklynn Burnett; parents, Bill and Sally Wells; and nephew, Joseph Maktima. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shari Maktima.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 2:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
