Christopher "Chris" Houk, age 56, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Houk and brother, Steve Houk.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Houk; children, Austin Houk (Selena), Emily Houk (Marquel Moore), Michaela Woody (Andrew), Samantha Gambill (Dylan), Tori Johnson, and Ethan Shaffer; grandchildren, Stryder Gambill, MaddaLynn Houk, Tyler-John Houk, Bentley Cole Woody, Brandon-Isaiah Houk, Dwayne Workman, and Liam-Zane "Squirrel" Houk; father, Al Houk and his wife Susan; nieces; nephews; many other family and friends; and his furbabies.

Chris was a Nashville native and member of World Outreach Church. He was an expert craftsman and jack of all trades. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening, skiing, kayaking, and being on the lake with his family. Chris was best known for his humorous and life of the party personality. There is no doubt that he will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His jokes, antics, and sense of humor will live on through his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church in Lebanon, Tennessee.
