Chris Hollandsworth, age 48 of Murfreesboro died Saturday March 17, 2012 at his home. He was a native of Rutherford County and was a member of Woodbury Road Baptist Church. Mr. Hollandsworth worked for USECO in Murfreesboro, was a graduate of Riverdale High School and served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Hollandsworth; son, C. Glenn Hollandsworth of Murfreesboro; step-son, Adam Rodrigues of Missouri; Father, Glenn Hollandsworth and wife Peggy of Murfreesboro; mother, Shirley Hudson Bateman and husband Bill of Fairfield Glade; niece, Kayla Dayton. Mr. Hollandsworth was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thelma and Elbert Hollandsworth, and A.I. and Doris Hudson, and sister Kelli Hollandsworth Wilson, and niece, Maggie Jones Cousins will serve as pallbearers.In lieu of flowers memorial may be made in memory of Mr. Hollandsworth to Middle Tennessee Christian School. Funeral will be 1:00PM Wednesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel with Nickey Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery.
