CHERRY DAVIS YOUNG, age 62, of Murfreesboro, died December 14, 2010. She was a native of Lewisburg, TN and raised in Murfreesboro, and daughter of the late William Andy and Annie Lucille Thompson Davis II. Funeral service will be 11am Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Marion West and Bro. Don Burns officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Young is survived by her husband, Clarence Pete Young; children, Shannon (Wayne) Young Stafford of Murfreesboro, Kelly Young of Murfreesboro, Chad Young of Murfreesboro, and Brandie Young of Woodbury; brothers, William Andy Bill (Patty) Davis III and Miles Curtis (Jan) Davis both of Smyrna; grandchildren, Steven and Kayla Stafford, Brittany, Amanda and Hope Busey, and Autumn and Izabell Young; and a great grandson, Isaac Stafford. Mrs. Young was a member of Florence Church of Christ and a 1966 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School. She was employed by the Kroger Store for 27 years.
