Charlotte Bradford McKnight, of Murfreesboro, passed away Friday June 8, 2018 at home.  She was a native of Dayton, Ohio, and daughter of the late George Fleming Bradford and Hazel Routsong Bradford.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Robert Nelson McKnight who died in 2006.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 15 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, Murfreesboro  with Rev. Cliff Wright officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday June 14 at First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. McKnight is survived by her daughters, Ann Lambert and husband Neil of Nashville, and Mary Francis and husband Michael of Murfreesboro; four grandchildren, Lauren Lane and husband Matt of Murfreesboro,  Mark Vick Jr. of Nashville, Bradford Spence and Mary Charlotte Spence both of Murfreesboro; one great grandchild, Baird Lane; and a brother in law, Joseph Brubaker of Tipp City, Ohio.

Mrs. McKnight was a graduate of Oakwood High School in Dayton, OH and the University of Dayton.  She was a member of First United Methodist  Church of Murfreesboro, where she was a teacher and director of First United Methodist Church Preschool.  She was a member of the Junior League of Murfreesboro, The Charity Circle, a volunteer at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, President of Rutherford Hospital Auxiliary, and Chairman of the Red Cross Volunteers.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. McKnight may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund or First United Methodist Church Preschool.
