CHARLES S. CHUCK YOUNG JR., age 68, of Murfreesboro died Jan. 5, 2010. Mr. Young was a native of St. Albans, West Virginia and son of the late Charles S. and Gladys Hinkle Young, Sr. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ron Harper and Judge David Bragg officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Young is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elfreida Young; children, Tiffany Young of Murfreesboro and Terry (Melissa) Young of Smyrna; one grandson, Ben Young; sisters, Sue Cyrus of W. VA. And Vickie (Ron) Shramek of Florida; one brother, Gary Young of W. VA. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Beatrice Kay Young and Judy Ormand Mr. Young attended the Church of Christ and was a retired project engineer with Rich Products. He was a veteran of the Air Force, a Boy Scout leader, former president of the Murfreesboro Baseball Association, and former president of The Noon Lions Club. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Memorials in memory of Mr. Young may be made to the Alzheimers Association or Alive Hospice.
