Charles W. Chuck Armour, age 80 of LaVergne, died Wednesday. He is survived by his wife Peggy of 61 years; son Michael Armour and wife Nona of Asheville North Carolina, daughters, Stephanie Lawson and husband Ron of Lebanon, Melanie Pilkerton and husband Tom of Pelham, Alabama; grandchildren, Celeste Rodgers and husband Kris of Sugarhill, Georgia; Chad Armour and wife Keely of Asheville North Carolina; Ronnie Lawson and wife Brittany of Lebanon, Darla Lawson and husband Quan of Lebanon, Dylan and Amber Hardy of Pelham, Alabama; great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Cade Rodgers of Sugarhill, Georgia; Avery Chase Armour of Asheville North Carolina, AJ and JJ Lawson of Lebanon, Jordan Lawson of Lebanon,; sister, Jo Wortman and husband John of Marietta, Georgia; niece, Connie Twiggs; nephews, Ben Wortman, and Terry Wortman all of Marietta Georgia; great nephews, Tim, Chris, and Geffory Wortman of Marietta Georgia and longtime friend, Robert Walker and his wife Flora Lee of Oakdale Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Rob Bowman, Dana Blair, E.T. Martin, Billy Knight, Lewis Eddy and Michael Bryant. Honorary Pallbearers will be Fellowship Sunday school Class, LaVergne First United Methodist Church and Retired Gulf co-workers. Memorials may be made in memory of Chuck Armour to LaVergne First United Methodist Church Music Department. Celebration of Chucks life will be 2:00PM Sunday at LaVergne First Methodist Church will Buddy Royston officiating, and music by Tim Hayden, Minster of Music and Choir members of LaVergne First United Methodist Church were Chuck was a member for 23 years.
