Charles L. Taylor, age 84, of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, February 7, 2015. He was a native of Cleveland, OH and the son of the late Bro. Charles A. and Ruth Harper Taylor. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Hawk and Norma Myers. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Ron Harper will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ernestine Hayes Taylor, daughters, Sandra King and her husband Roger of Bell Buckle and Margaret Taylor of Murfreesboro, grandchildren, Alice King Dumm and her husband David of Cleveland, TN, Roger Lynn King, Jr. of Bell Buckle and Ruth Ann King Estes and her husband David of Murfreesboro and 4 great grandchildren. Mr. Taylor was a member of Salem Creek Church of Christ and was a charter member of Minerva Drive Church of Christ. He was a graduate of Bradley County High School and attended David Lipscomb College. He was an employee of Tennessee Farmers Coop for 31 and a half years and retired from Ace Hardware after 11 years of service. Pallbearers will be Lynn King, Ralph Farrer, Stephen Farrer, Robert Hayes, Timmy Hayes and Jim Ed Warden. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00pm Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. 615-893-5151.
