Charles R. Stewart, age 76, of Smyrna, TN, died Monday, October 23, 2017. A native of Red Bank, TN, near Chattanooga, he was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lola Bobo Stewart; and son, Charles Willam Stewart.

A graveside service will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in Mapleview Cemetery with full military honors. Dr. Mike Norris will officiate.

He is survived by his loving wife, Annette Barrett Stewart; daughters, Debbie Draper and her husband Daryl and Theresa Fitzcharles; son, Ricky Glowacki and his wife Debbie; grandchildren, Paul Stanford, Carri Glowacki, Jodi Schofield and her husband Richie, Kristi Wood and her husband Stewart, Rick Glowacki and his wife Donna, Quentin Fitzcharles and his wife Lisa, Michael Draper and his fiancé Taylor, and Lindsay Draper; along with several great grandchildren.

Mr. Stewart was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church. He was retired from the United States Air Force and also retired from the United States Post Office where he worked in Smyrna for many years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all those that knew him.

Memorials in memory of Mr. Stewart can be made to Avalon Hospice or to Mindful Care Adult Day Service.
