Charles Thomas Shaw, age 52 of Murfreesboro died Thursday January 16, 2014. He was a native of Alabama and was preceded in death by his son, Alexander Mandrell Shaw who died in 2010. Mr. Shaw was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and was a graduate of Northern Iowa State University. He had worked for Nashville Public Library. Mr. Shaw is survived by his wife, Wendi Mandrell Shaw; mother, Margaret Cecilia Ramsey of Nashville; father Thomas Milton Shaw of New Mexico; brothers, Thomas Shaw of Nashville, Gregory Shaw of Florida; sister Katie Shaw of Minnesota; father and mother-in-law, Wendell and Linda Mandrell of Murfreesboro. Funeral Mass will be 11AM Saturday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Mark Sappenfield officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
