Charles Edward Poteete, Sr. age 61 of Smyrna died Friday August 18, 2017. He was a native of Nashville and was the son of the late Charlie Lola Kirby Poteete, and also preceded in death by four sisters. Mr. Poteete was retired Truck driver and had worked in construction.

He is survived by his children; Charles Edward Poteete, Jr. and C. J. Poteete; brothers, Ricky Poteete, Al Poteete, Bill Poteete, Henry Poteete.
