Charles Daniel Piper, age 74 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Monday August 24, 2015. A native of Gallatin, TN, he was the son of the late J.B. and Mary Katherine Holland Piper. He was also preceded in death by a son, Andy Lynn Piper, and a brother, Jerry Wayne Piper. Mr. Piper is survived by a son, Randy Glenn Piper and his wife Stephanie of Gallatin, TN; daughters, Sandy Gwen Piper Oldham and her husband Rick of Lafayette, TN, and Jordan Danielle Piper of Smyrna, TN; step-children, Sean Darrell and his wife Christina, and Heather Thompson all of Smyrna, TN, and Kevin Darrell of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Jackie Proffitt and Belinda Waggoner and her husband Ty, all of Gallatin, TN; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; his companion, Diana Piper of Smyrna, TN, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday August 29, 2015, at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, from 12:00 noon until time of the memorial service at 2:00 PM. Randy Piper will officiate.
