Charles Edward Pharris, age 92 of Smyrna died Sunday September 15, 2024. He was a native of Nashville and was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Dotson Pharris, and his parents, Sam Pharris, and Lona Belle Stafford Pharris.

Mr. Pharris was a master brick mason and a devoted husband of 70 years,father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.

He is survived by Son; Charles Edward Pharris, Jr.,; daughters, Deidre Cook and husband Mark, Frances Jones, Linda McNamara and husband Rick; grandchildren, Christina " Sissy" Grosch and husband Nathan, Dustin Cook, Cody Cook and Katrina; Darrel Pharris and wife Robin, Chastitie McCreey and husband Terry; great-grandchildren; Mackensy Milam, Kailyn Milam, Jace Cook, Courtney Pharris, Daniel Pharris, and wife Sarah,  Allison Whitman, Hunter Wanca; Shyann Harris, Dustin Harris, Laura Harris, 9 great-great-grandchildren; sisters; Linda Pharris, Betty Ann Carver; brother; Billy Pharris.

Visitation will be Thursday September 19th 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be Friday September 20th 11:00AM Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Richard Radford will officiate. Burial to follow in Mapleview Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
