Mr. Charles Naron, age 84, of Smyrna, TN passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at his home. He was born in Williamson County, TN but spent most of his life in Rutherford County, TN. Mr. Naron began working on the family farm at a young age. He later worked at Lane Cedar Mill in Smyrna and trained horses at Arrowhead Farms. Mr. Naron retired from the Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN.

Mr. Naron is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joan White Naron; son, Rick Naron and his wife Stacey of Franklin, TN; daughter, Margie Dugger and her husband Jimmy of Smyrna; three grandchildren, Amber Dugger Smelser and her husband Justin, Logan Dugger and his wife Madison, and Bennett Naron; three brothers, Doris Naron and his wife Lucy of Smyrna, Gordon Naron of Nolensville, TN, and Wesley Naron and his wife Dawn of Lebanon, TN; and sister-in-law, Margaret Ann Naron. In addition to his parents, Andrew Martin and Christine Hamer Naron, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Naron; and sister-in-law, Catherine Naron.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2:oopm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bro. Wayne Cornwell and Mark O'Neal will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.
