Charles Wesley Lane age 79 of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday December 17, 2014. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Monroe and Hilda Cunningham Lane. He was also preceded in death by his wife; Annie Sue Lane and five brothers. Mr. Lane is survived by his children; son Terry Lane and his wife Vickie of Nashville, daughter; Debbie Browne of White House, son; James Lane and his wife Crissy of Christiana, daughter; Crystal Lane of Smyrna, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother; Floyd Lane of Smyrna. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Ralph Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Any memorials may be made to Woodfin Chapel Smyrna in memory of Charles Lane.
