CHARLES 'CHARLIE'' LAMB, age 78, of LaVergne, died September 11, 2013 at his home. A native of Cawood, KY, he was the son of the late John and Bessie Greene Lamb. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna with Bro. Todd Kirkland officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Mr. Lamb is survived by his wife, Phyllis Lamb; sons, Kevin (Tammie), Rockvale, Jeff (Brenda), Murfreesboro, and Jason (Michelle), Murfreesboro; sister, June Farmer, Cawood, KY; and grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary, and Emily Lamb. Mr. Lamb was a retired banker with Sun Trust Bank in Nashville. He attended Miracle Baptist Church in LaVergne. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
