Charles "Buddy" Vaughn Jr., age 59, of Fosterville, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013. A native of Murfreesboro, TN he was preceded in death by his father, Charles "Bud" Vaughn. Funeral services will be Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel at 10:00AM. Bud Mitchell will officiate. Burial will follow in Fosterville Cemetery. Mr. Vaughn is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Karen Lewis Vaughn; mother, Katherine Overall Vaughn of Murfreesboro; son, Cliff Vaughn and his wife Karen of Murfreesboro; daughter, Mandy Pinion and her husband Chip of Christiana; son, Matt Vaughn of Murfreesboro; and daughter, Katie Arthur and her husband Jacob of Nashville; granddaughters, Kylie Vaughn, Cassidy Vaughn, Paige Martin, and Addie Grade Arthur; grandson, Tryson Pinion; sisters, Kay Mitchell and her husband Bud of Murfreesboro; Cheryl Warren and her husband Dale of Murfreesboro; and Joy Howard and her husband Pat of Savannah, GA; along with many nieces and nephews. Mr. Vaughn was a 1971 graduate of Central High School. He was a Commercial Contractor and owner of Southern States Electric Company. Mr. Vaughn had a deep passion and love for duck hunting and fishing. He was a loving son, husband, brother and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Bud Elliott, Alan Loveless, Mitchel Loveless, Randy Ricketts, Dwight Hancock, Craig Lynch, Lynn Grizzle, Lance Simmons and Joe Perdzock will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations please be made to the Tennessee Wildlife Federation and to Caris Hospice. Visitation will be Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel from 4:00PM to 8:00PM.
