CHARLES ROSS HOLDER, age 83, of Murfreesboro died Tuesday May 3, 2011. He was a native of Allisona, TN and the son of the late Horace Lee and Odell Hendrix Holder. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Holder. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Carlton Cemetery. Brother John Herdman will officiate. He is survived by his daughter Betty Lorene Holder of Franklin, his sons Michael Ross (Hae Suk) Holder of Murfreesboro, Ronald Lee (Nina Ruth) Holder of Smyrna, Randall Hugh Holder of Nashville, brothers Edwin Holder of Murfreesboro, Horace Odell Holder of Murfreesboro, grandchild, Lillian Jean (William Loyd) Denny, great grandchildren, Gabriel Leigh (Josh) Smotherman, Sara Denny. Mr. Holder was a salesman for Tennessee Foods in Murfreesboro and retired from Rich Products Corporation. He was a US Navy veteran.
