Charles E. Dallas, age 72, of Murfreesboro, TN; formerly of Paducah, KY; went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Leora Connell Dallas. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Father Jacob Dio will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Dallas is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sandy Bower Dallas; son, Thomas W. Dallas and his wife Beverly; daughter, Lorraine K. Dallas; grandchildren, Chelsea Dallas, Cally Hayes, Kyle Dallas, Zach Dallas, and Hunter Dallas; great-grandchildren, Jamie, Allie, Kaylee, and Aubree; and two sisters, Ellyn Copeland and Karen Williams. Mr. Dallas was a 1961 graduate of Lone Oak High School in Paducah, KY and obtained his Associates Degree from Southeast Missouri State University. He was a retired manager with Lowes. Mr. Dallas had many hobbies including woodworking and riding motorcycles, where he was a member of the Chapter Y. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Kentucky Wildcat Basketball fan. Friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials in memory of Mr. Dallas can be made to the American Diabetes Association or to Tennessee Donor Services. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
