Charles Edward Banniza, age 74 of Smyrna died Sunday February 13, 2022. He was a native of Nashville and was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Banniza, Sr. and Margaret Banniza and a brother, Harry Banniza, Jr.

Mr. Banniza was a Christian and was retired from Metro Water Services. He was a long-time motorcycle instructor for the State of Tennessee.  Mr. Banniza taught thousands of motorcycles riders in Middle Tennessee most recently at Bumpus Harley-Davidson of Murfreesboro.

Mr. Banniza is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol Banniza; children, Brandi Gibson and husband Michael, Brandon Banniza, sisters; Barbara Ann Banniza, Telisa Banniza; brothers, Jimmy Banniza and wife Frieda, Bobby Banniza and wife Diane, Larry Banniza, Tony Banniza and wife Amy.
