CHARLENE HANEY BLACKBURN age 77 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Friday December 18, 2009. A native of Kingsport, TN, she was the daughter of the late Fandy S. and Addie Jordan Haney. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Vinson officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Hill Methodist Church Cemetery in Bedford County. Mrs. Blackburn is survived by her husband, Hubert H. Blackburn; son and daughter-in-law, Richard M. and Gina Blackburn of Grove City, PA; daughter, Laura D. Blackburn of Conyers, GA; grandson Richard M. Blackburn, Jr. of Grove City, PA, and mother-in-law, Cloy Blackburn of Murfreesboro, TN. Mrs. Blackburn was a member of Southeast Baptist Church, where she was accompanist for the Southeast Baptist Church Choir and a director of the church youth choir. She was the owner of CHARLENE BLACKBURN/PRUDENTIAL REALTY and was in the first Leadership Rutherford Class. She received the trailblazer award in 1993, and served as president of United Way.
