Mrs. Chandy Soumpholphakdy, age 95, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away peacefully Friday, February 28, 2025 with her family by her side. She was born in Laos to the late Wott and Moun Soumpholphakdy and came to the United States in 1989. Mrs. Soumpholphakdy loved her family and would do anything to support them. She made sure her children and grandchildren always had enough to eat. Mrs. Soumpholphakdy enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved going on vacation to go hiking, camping, and visiting family in California.

Mrs. Soumpholphakdy is survived by her children, Khampath Soumpholphakdy, Lethsamone Soumpholphakdy, Manivone Soumpholphakdy, Thengon Soumpholphakdy, Don Soumpholphakdy and his wife Xaysong, Keoudone Soumpholphakdy and his wife Anne Sayakhom, Pathoumphone Soumpholphakdy and her husband Kyle Long, Saengalon Soumpholphakdy and her husband Williams Suarez, and Bounthavy Soumpholphakdy; and grandchildren, Jazmin Garrett, Chloe Long, Paige Long, Kaden Soumpholphakdy, Amerie Soumpholphakdy, and Mataeya Soumpholphakdy in the United States with many more in Laos.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 12:00noon until 2:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A Traditional Lao Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 2:00p at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
