BOWMAN, age 37, of Murfreesboro, Tn. joined our Father in Heaven after a week long fight at Vanderbilt Hospital. Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara Collier, Earl & Florence Kelsey and his father in law, Thomas Elliott. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan. He is survived by his loving wife, Robin Elliott Bowman; and their children, Anthony, Morgan & Breanna Bowman; parents, Larry & Carolyn Kelsey Bowman of Murfreesboro; brother, Joe Bowman of Smyrna, sister, Jelaine (Scott) Nodine of Smyrna, grandfather, Melvin Collier of Michigan; sisters in law, Vickie Elliott, Kim Ramsey and Khristal (David) Kelley; mother in law, Margaret Elliott and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, Tn with Steve Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 4-8 pm Wednesday and after 12 on Thursday. Mr. Bowman was a member of the Lavergne Free Will Baptist Church and the supervisor in the Water Department with the city of Lavergne. Chad knew no strangers in his life and always had an open hand and heart to those who needed help. He will be dearly missed by family, friends, and co-workers.
