Cathy Jeanene Crisp

Cathy Jeanene Crisp, age 68, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Born on April 25, 1958, in McComb, Mississippi, Cathy was the daughter of the late John Floyd Boren and Helen Jeanene Jones Boren.

Cathy dedicated her professional life to serving others as a legal secretary, a role in which she demonstrated meticulous care and dedication. Outside of her career, Cathy had a deep appreciation for the arts and nature. She was a wonderfully talented piano player, filling her home and life with music, and she held a special love for animals, especially her cherished dogs, Ming and Zoey.

Cathy is survived by her loving mother, Helen Boren of Smyrna, Tennessee, and her brother, Steve Boren of Thompson Station, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her father, John Floyd Boren, and her sister, Anita Gail Boren Stafford.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro, Tennessee – 615-893-5151.

Cathy will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
