Catherine Blankenship Zahn, age 94 of Huntington, IN, passed away on Thursday October 16, 2014. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Stacey and Minnie Bell Cason Blankenship. Mrs. Zahn was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Matthew Zahn who died in 2008. Mrs. Zahn is survived by her nieces, Nancy Barnett of Shelbyville, TN, Becky Davis, Martha Madeo and Jenny Travis of Murfreesboro, TN, Ada Norfleet and Mary Ann Dorris of Nashville, TN, Sylvia "Pat" McFerrin of Huntsville, AL, and Margaret Brandon of Chattanooga, TN; nephews, Henry Blankenship of Nashville, TN, and Michael Zahn of Huntington, IN, and several great- nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Lisa Oliver officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Zahn was a member of the Baptist Church, a 1941 graduate of MTSU and was former owner and operator along with her husband of Model Cleaners in Huntington, IN.
