Obituary

Catherine B. Moseley, age 93, devoted mother, wife, grandmother and friend passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017. She was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Harrison and Myrtle Clark and later raised by Walter and Muriel Harper Boggs. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Quillian Moseley, a retired Lt. with the Metro Nashville Police Department, and her siblings, Bill Clark, Ethel Meyn, Muriel Southerland and Nellie Arrendale.

Funeral service 10:00am Monday, October 23, 2017 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Greg Dunn will officiate. Interment will be 1:00pm Monday at Nashville National Cemetery, 1420 Gallatin Pike S, Madison, TN 37115 .

She is survived by her daughter, Gloria "Dodie" Nolan and her husband Ken, Jr., grandson, Ken Nolan, III and his wife, Jeryla Gray Nolan, great grandchildren, Abigail Jean,  Mason Kenneth  and Emma Gray Nolan.

Mrs. Moseley graduated from Demorest High School and was an alumni of  Berry College in Georgia. During WWII, she worked as a welder in a Defense Plant. In 1966, she became the first female Section Chief of the Southern Region for Western Electric. After 38 years of service, she retired as a Supervisor of Data Processing at the Nashville Service Center. Mrs. Moseley was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She attended Woodbine Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a member of Laura Coleman's Sunday School Class. She was known as "Kiki" by her family. Kiki loved to paint and enjoyed traveling to Florida with her husband, family and friends. Her courage, friendship, and devoted love will be missed.

Memorials may be made to the Nashville Rescue Mission, 639 Lafayette Street, Nashville, TN 37203 in memory of Mrs. Moseley.
