Mrs. Catherine "Cathie" Leigh Dodd, age 70, of Smyrna, TN passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016. She was born in Pasadena, CA to the late George Edward and Gladys Emma Waterhouse. Mrs. Dodd attended Kedron United Methodist Church in Smyrna. She was the executive director for the Woodbine Community Organization for over 25 years. Her work with the organization will continue as a living legacy to her commitment to affordable housing in Nashville.

Mrs. Dodd is survived by her daughters, Tracey Bryant and her husband John of Murfreesboro, TN and Jenny Frey and her significant other Dante Kilcrease of Smyrna, TN; four grandchildren, Jordan McCroskey, Alleigh Bryant, Emma Johnson, and Ashton Bryant; brother, Ron Waterhouse and his wife Sharon; and a host of friends who were like family.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 18, 2016 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00am at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will follow at Mapleview Cemetery.
