CATHERINE RIGSBY BOWMAN, age 82, of Murfreesboro died Tuesday, January 20, 2009. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Floyd T. and Daisy Womack Rigsby. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Lucille Reed and Christine Dickerson. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Nickey Nichols will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. She is survived by her son: Randy Bowman of Murfreesboro, daughter and son-in-law, Roxanne and Jackie Hutchins of Lascassas, brother, Edmon Rigsby of Murfreesboro, and grandson, Dusty Hutchins of Lascassas. Mrs. Bowman attended Murfreesboro Central High School and was retired from Chromalox after 31 years of service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Catherine Bowman funeral fund at Bank of America on memorial blvd in her memory.
