Carolynn Kobiske, age 74 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee died Sunday, March 24, 2024, in Lebanon TN. She was a native of Rice Lake, Wisconsin and was the daughter of the late Emil and Alma Ostermann. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Kobiske; and a son, Andrew Kobiske.

Survivors include a son, Daniel Kobiske and wife Cherie of Texas; grandchildren; Austin and Caitlin Kobiske; two brothers, Eugene and wife Kay of Indiana, and Steven and wife Holly of Wisconsin; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Carolynn worked as a music and elementary school teacher for 40 years in Illinois, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. After retiring from elementary education, her passion for continuing to teach drove her to work for a nonprofit, Read to Succeed, where she worked for 7 years and tutored for the program in her off time until she retired in 2023.  Her mark on these individuals has changed their lives forever.

Besides teaching and helping others, Carolynn was an avid reader, loved to travel with family and spend time with friends.
