Carolyn Faye (Wilson) Spence, age 81 of Gallatin, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 27, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terrell "Terry" Spence and parents, Jessie Rufus and Sarah Mable (Leonard) Wilson of Murfreesboro.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Joseph Bryan Spence, Barbara Spence Ramsay, David Floyd Spence (Alyson), and Daniel Ray Spence (Carol); grandchildren, Abby Spence, Jerod Spence, Gabriel Turman, Grace Duke Gadd, Jaqueline Duke, Kyle Spence (Aubrey), Josie Spence, and Anna Spence; great-granddaughter, Dahlia Gadd; three brothers, Jesse, Albert and Ricky Wilson; three sisters, Jeraldine Dover, Wanda Williams and Gail Sneed.

Visitation with the family will be held Monday, March 3, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday following the visitation with Todd Rodarmel officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery in Christiana with family serving as pallbearers.

Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Her Christian faith was central to every aspect of her life. She always opened her home to others in their time of need. She welcomed the opportunity to lift the spirits of all those around her with her quick wit, keen sense of humor and heartfelt advice.
