Carolyn Barrett Love , age 73 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Sunday September 11, 2016. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of John Howard and Ollie Mae Rowland Barrett. Mrs. Love was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert C. Love, who died in 1984, and a daughter, Kristie Leigh Love who died in 1971.

Mrs. Love is survived by her sons, Jeff Love of Smyrna, TN and Craig Love of the Walter Hill community; brothers, Clayton Barrett of Watertown, TN, and Marvin Barrett of Smyrna, TN; sister, Jeannie Anderson of Manchester, TN; and two grandchildren, Caroline Love of Murfreesboro, TN, and Carson Love of the Walter Hill community.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Reverend W. D. Thomason officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Love was a member of Hillview Baptist Church and was retired from Whirlpool in Smyrna, TN.
