Carolyn McDonald Harper, age 91 of LaVergne died Saturday June 15, 2024. She was a native of Nashville, TN and was preceded in death by her husband Norman Dean Harper, parents, Luther Cannon McDonald, and Myrtle Jane Fry McDonald; grandson, Christopher Parker, and great-granddaughter,  Tabitha West

Mrs. Harper was a member of Mission Church of Christ and was retired from Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

She is survived by her children, Sherrie Lynn Parker, Barbara Natalie Whitaker and husband Ruben; grandchildren, Norman Hanks, Caleb Hanks, Matthew Parker, Timothy Hanks, Daniel Hurt, Karen West and husband Michael, Jeffery Harrell and great-grandchildren, Bradley, VanZant, Justin Harrell, Jeremy Harrell, Lora Harrell, Bella Harrell, Carolyn Hanks, Kaitlyn Graves.

Visitation will be Tuesday June 18th  4:00PM to 8:00PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be Wednesday June 19th 11:00AM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. www.woodfinchapel.com
